Who we are

We breed with a long view.

Magnolia Heritage Tibetan Mastiffs exists to preserve and promote the qualities that make the Tibetan Mastiff such a remarkable guardian breed: dignity, independence, loyalty, strength, discernment, and devotion to family and home.

Our dogs are not simply breeding animals. They are members of our household and the heart of our program. Every breeding decision is made with the future of the breed in mind, not simply with the next litter in mind.

We value honest conversation with potential puppy buyers. A Tibetan Mastiff is not the right dog for every family, neighborhood, or lifestyle, and we believe responsible breeding includes helping people understand both the beauty and the difficulty of the breed.

Our name

Why Magnolia Heritage?

The magnolia flower is prominent in Tibetan culture as a symbol of nobility, purity, sincerity, and spiritual awakening. Both the magnolia and the Tibetan Mastiff share deep roots and ancient heritage originating in the Himalayas. This common ancestry, and our location in northeast Oklahoma, where we live with both magnolias and Tibetan Mastiffs, made our name easy to choose. Because of the relationship Magnolia Heritage Tibetan Mastiffs enjoys with Noble Legacy Tibetan Mastiffs, we also felt this name paid due homage to the mentorship and guidance we have been privileged to receive.

What guides us

Our commitments

Health

We prioritize health testing, sound movement, appropriate growth, and thoughtful management of a large guardian breed.

Temperament

We value stable, discerning dogs with the confidence and steadiness expected in a serious guardian breed.

Education

We expect buyers to learn about the breed’s independence, protective instincts, barking, fencing needs, coat care, and slow maturity.

Structure

We care about breed type, balance, movement, and the functional build of a powerful working guardian.

Placement

We place puppies carefully, matching temperament and needs to prepared homes rather than placing by impulse or convenience.

Support

We remain a resource for our puppy families and expect every Magnolia Heritage dog to be valued for life.
